Bob Affelder






The Ocean City, MD golf school is directed by Bob Affelder. Bob went to Avon Old Farms and is a graduate of Rollins College, where he played four years of collegiate NCAA golf and received a degree in Sociology and Communications. He has been a Class A PGA member for over 25 years. Bob has been with the Original Golf School since1985. He has taught hundreds of classes at both Mount Snow, VT and Crystal River, FL golf schools. He was director in New Hampshire for 3 seasons and is entertaining into his twenty sixth year as director of the Ocean City school. As well as teaching golf for over 30 years, he has played numerous golf tournaments. Among his victories are the New Hampshire PGA and and Southern Vermont Open. He played in the 2011 US Senior Open at Inverness Country Club and later won the 2011 Maryland Senior Open. Bob was also one of four golf professionals to start the first golf school in Switzerland. His knowledge of the golf swing, course management, club selection and club fitting has helped him improve the games of thousands of students for nearly four decades.




Ben Ogle



Ben began his golf career in 1983 as a PGA apprentice and gained membership in 1988. He went on to become head golf professional at 3 golf courses in the Ocean City area. As head professional he gave numerous golf lessons and clinics to the club members. He ran tournaments and managed pro shops and staff.

Later in the 1990s and 2000s he became a teaching professional at The Original Golf School.

His affable personality and knowledge of the swing and course management has helped him improve the games of hundreds of golfers of all skill levels.

Ben especially enjoys teaching golf drills and his on course lessons with his students.
